2017年特朗普剛勝選入主白宮時，曾接受美聯(lián)社和《金融時報》采訪，向記者介紹白宮陳設(shè)。當時，他向記者展示了這個盒子，說道：“這上面有一個按鈕，按下就會有人送來可樂。”



A button President Donald Trump used to order Diet Cokes while sitting at the Resolute Desk in the White House has apparently been moved since President Joe Biden took office.

Trump first showed off the wooden call box in 2017 interviews with The Associated Press and the Financial Times. He showed reporters that with a push of a red button, a White House butler would bring him a glass of soda in the Oval Office.

In the years after, Trump was pictured regularly with the rectangular wooden box on the desk, right next to his phones.

“2019年我和《星期日泰晤士報》政治編輯蒂姆·希普曼在白宮橢圓形辦公室采訪特朗普時，我們開始非常好奇辦公桌上這個小紅按鈕的作用。最終，特朗普按下了按鈕，一名管家迅速端來了一杯用銀盤盛著的健怡可樂。如今，它（按鈕盒）不見了。”

According to news reports, Trump would regularly consume 12 cans of Diet Coke a day.

前任白宮助理克里斯·西姆斯曾在他2019年出版的書《毒蛇隊》（Team of Vipers）中爆料，特朗普也會用這個紅色按鈕惡作劇，跟白宮到訪者說這個按鈕會觸發(fā)核武器。

Ex-White House aide Chris Sims wrote in his 2019 book "Team of Vipers" that Trump would also use the red button as a way of pranking visitors by suggesting it could trigger nuclear capabilities.

“他（特朗普）會在大家毫無準備的情況下，突然按下按鈕。客人們忐忑不安，面面相覷，難以置信。過了一會兒，白宮管家端著銀色托盤進來，上面是玻璃杯盛著的健怡可樂，特朗普就忍不住放聲大笑。”

“Out of nowhere, he’d suddenly press the button,” Sims wrote of the former president. “Not sure what to do, guests would look at one another with raised eyebrows. Moments later, a steward would enter the room carrying a glass filled with Diet Coke on a silver platter, and Trump would burst out laughing.”

不過，其實這個按鈕并非特朗普“原創(chuàng)”，也不光是用來叫碳酸飲料的。

《商業(yè)內(nèi)幕》指出，早在2009年，時任總統(tǒng)奧巴馬和眾議院議長南希·佩洛西共進晚餐時，這個木質(zhì)按鈕盒就被放在了餐桌上。

The call button is not new and isn't used only for soda — President Barack Obama was once pictured with it on a table during a lunch with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

推特上，也有網(wǎng)友表示，前總統(tǒng)奧巴馬和布什桌上都有過這個按鈕盒，并不是特朗普專屬的。
