Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava announced Wednesday evening that eight more bodies had been found in the Surfside building collapse, bringing the death toll to 54, with 86 still "potentially" unaccounted for." Of the 54 victims, 33 have been identified and next of kin notified. She also announced the search and rescue effort was transitioning into a recovery effort.
