Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump condemned President Joe Biden and the catastrophe unfolding in Kabul, Afghanistan since the weekend, in an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity on Tuesday.

"It is a terrible time for our country. I don't think in all of the years our country has ever been so humiliated. I don't know what you call it – a military defeat or a psychological defeat, there has never been anything like what's happened here." Trump said.

特朗普將阿富汗危機歸咎于拜登，還將其稱為“我們國家歷史上最大的尷尬(This is the greatest embarrassment in the history of our country.)”。他表示，“不光是尷尬，這還會在未來數年、數十年里影響我們和世界的關系。(This is something that it will affect our relationships for years to come, in decades to come.)”

之后特朗普又扯上了中國，聲稱中國在目睹塔利班接管阿富汗后“非常開心”，正“嘲笑”美國：“我敢說當中國看著的時候，他們一定樂壞了，正笑話我們呢。(I will say when China watches this, they’re so happy and they are laughing at us.)”



特朗普還在采訪中談及阿富汗喀布爾機場的亂象，說道：“你面對的是成千上萬的美國人和其他人，他們被困在阿富汗，處境非常危險……這是你甚至不敢相信的事情。”
"You are dealing with thousands and thousands of Americans and others that are stranded and very dangerously… in Afghanistan. So it's something that you can't even believe."

Trump claimed he never had any confidence in the now abdicated government of President Ashraf Ghani, saying he is “a total crook”.

But Trump's claim that the Taliban has been around for 1,000 years is erroneous. The organization was founded in September 1994 in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
