據(jù)《紐約時報》等美媒報道，當?shù)貢r間11月30日，美國首批經(jīng)政府批準的毒品安全注射點——“用藥過量預(yù)防中心”在紐約開張。注射點會提供干凈的針頭，還有工作人員幫助成癮者避免吸毒過量。

據(jù)《紐約時報》報道，紐約市本次開放的兩個注射點位于曼哈頓東哈萊姆和華盛頓高地附近，已于30日開始運營。

注射點有工作人員提供干凈的針頭，還配有納洛酮（naloxone）等用于緊急治療的藥品和工具。使用者可自帶毒品前往。



Trained staff at two sites — in the neighborhoods of East Harlem and Washington Heights — provided clean needles, administered naloxone to reverse overdoses and provided users with options for addiction treatment. Users brought their own drugs to the sites.

Overdose prevention sites provide supervised settings for people who use drugs to be in a monitored space with nurses, clinical staff or peers to ensure the person does not overdose. Observers are there to reverse overdoses with naloxone, a medication that works as an antidote to opioid overdoses, and prevent death.

The overdose prevention centers (OPCs), also known as supervised consumption sites or safe injection sites, provide a safer place for drug users to administer drugs and get medical care if they overdose, the city said.

據(jù)《紐約時報》報道，工作人員稱，開張首日截至下午2點，東哈萊姆區(qū)注射點接待了超過40名吸毒者，另一處注射點也接待了32人。

當天，工作人員就阻止了兩次用藥過量事件的發(fā)生。

About 40 people had come in to use as of 2 p.m. at the East Harlem location on the first official day of operation, while 32 people had used drugs under supervision at the Washington Heights site, Ms. See said. 

Staff had reversed two overdoses, she said.

Further, federal law bans operating a place for taking illegal drugs, and the government successfully sued in recent years to block a supervised consumption space in Philadelphia.
