綜合法新社、英國《每日郵報(bào)》報(bào)道，秘魯警方19日宣布，警方不久前喬裝扮成圣誕老人和精靈，突襲首都利馬一處毒販窩點(diǎn)，抓捕毒販并起獲大量毒品。

這一幕更像是一出喜劇，而不是警察的突襲——“圣誕老人”和他的“精靈助手”進(jìn)入犯罪多發(fā)的蘇爾基約街區(qū)，走到疑是毒販窩點(diǎn)的一棟房子前，掏出一把大錘，破門而入，大喊“趴在地上，不許動”……

A gang of drug dealers in Peru got a nasty surprise when Santa and a merry band of elves broke down their door, cuffed them and seized their merchandise in an unusual bust announced Monday.

Agents disguised as the ruddy, white-bearded figure from the North Pole and several of his helpers, entered an unsafe neighborhood of Lima called Surquillo on Saturday.

The group ambled innocently down a street until suddenly they stopped at a house. In a scene more akin to a comedy skit than a police raid, one of Santa's helpers brought out an enormous hammer, broke down the front door and the group forced their way inside.

Instead of greeting the occupants with a jolly cheer, agents screamed at them to freeze and lay down on the floor.

 

 

警察戴維·比利亞努埃瓦告訴當(dāng)?shù)仉娨暸_，“圣誕節(jié)快到了，圣誕老人走在街上不會太搶眼，我們在這次行動中就利用了這一點(diǎn)。”

Police official David Villanueva told Peruvian TV: “It being Christmas, a Santa in the street does not attract much attention, and we used this to our advantage for this operation.”

The suspects, three men and a woman, initially thought it was a joke, said Villanueva.
