TV anchor Zhao Zhongxiang dies at age 78

1月16日7:30，著名主持人趙忠祥因病在京去世，享年78歲。趙忠祥之子趙方通過社交媒體向外界證實(shí)了父親去世的消息：父親趙忠祥于2019年底感到身體不適，就醫(yī)檢查，發(fā)現(xiàn)身患癌癥，已經(jīng)擴(kuò)散。趙忠祥，1942年1月16日出生于河北省，中國中央電視臺(tái)的資深播音員、主持人，趙忠祥共參與主持過13屆央視春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會(huì), 承載了幾代人關(guān)于春節(jié)的記憶。在中央電視臺(tái)工作的40余年中，他主持過《正大綜藝》、《動(dòng)物世界》和《人與自然》等節(jié)目。很多觀眾都是聽著他解說的《動(dòng)物世界》長大的。

Household name TV anchor Zhao Zhongxiang died at 7:30 Thursday morning in Beijing. He was 78.

In a statement released on his official social media account by his son, Zhao Fang, the veteran anchorman sought medical care at the end of 2019 after feeling unwell. He was diagnosed with cancer, which had already spread by the time of diagnosis.

Zhao, a native of North China's Hebei province, is best known for his professionalism as a journalist, news broadcaster and in dubbing. Many people said they grew up listening to Zhao's smooth voice when he narrated for Animal World, which has been airing since 1981.

Her performance as a wife going through a complicated divorce in the gripping comedy-drama Marriage Story was among the most-applauded performances of the year, while her portrayal of a mother hiding a Jewish girl during the Holocaust in Jojo Rabbit also earned rave reviews.

Last Sunday, the 37-year-old US actress stepped out to attend the 2020 Critics' Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. This marks her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to her second child.

Hathaway — who is nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for her role in Modern Love — sparkled on the red carpet in a breathtaking gold sequined gown, featuring a plunging neckline and bat wing sleeves. She paired the dress with her brunette curls loose, an asymmetric drop earring and hand jewelry. 

She was joined on the red carpet by her husband, Adam Shulman, who looked dapper in a blue velvet tuxedo.
