據(jù)《紐約郵報》報道，當(dāng)?shù)貢r間8月8日，美國總統(tǒng)拜登準(zhǔn)備前往肯塔基州東部探望遭遇洪水的災(zāi)民，途中答記者問。
視頻畫面顯示，有記者提問拜登，是否“擔(dān)心臺灣情況”。
拜登回答稱：“我并不擔(dān)心（臺灣），我擔(dān)心他們（中國大陸）目前這樣的（軍事）行動，但我認(rèn)為他們不會有進(jìn)一步的行動。”
“I’m not worried, but I’m concerned that they’re moving as much as they are,” President Biden told reporters as he departed Delaware to tour recent storm damage in Kentucky on Monday.
“I don’t think they are gonna do anything more,” added Biden.
而當(dāng)被問道佩洛西是否做出“明智之舉”時，拜登說，“這是她的決定。”
