近期，湖北省武漢市等多個地區(qū)發(fā)生新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情。針對“新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情”有關防控情況，1月20日下午，國家衛(wèi)健委高級別專家組組長、中國工程院院士、國家呼吸系統(tǒng)疾病臨床研究專家鐘南山在發(fā)布會上做了介紹。
鐘南山表示，對于疫情形勢的研判，目前有三個特點。
鐘南山表示，95%以上都跟武漢有關系，去過武漢，從武漢來，這是一個特點。
95 percent of the cases are connected with Wuhan residents, either going there or coming from the city, said Zhong Nanshan, head of a high-level expert team organized by the National Health Commission.
“第二個特點就是目前已經(jīng)證實了有人傳染，是在兩個地區(qū)，一個在廣東，一個在武漢，證實有人傳染。”
"It was confirmed that two cases in Guangdong province arose from human-to-human transmission," said Zhong, who is also a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a prominent expert in respiratory diseases.
“第三個特點也證實了有醫(yī)務人員的感染，那么這三個情況以及醫(yī)務人員的感染，最后證實圍繞著有新型冠狀病毒的病人因為護理各方面，14個醫(yī)務人員的感染。”

鐘南山院士表示，出現(xiàn)人傳人和醫(yī)務人員感染的情況，是非常重要的標志。病例數(shù)增加較多的原因較復雜。對疾病的認識有個過程，現(xiàn)在的檢測有新的技術可以快速檢出來，是有很多原因，不是一個。要定它的話，以前是從國家的CDC（中國疾病預防控制中心），或者國家的部分嚴格鑒定以后才能發(fā)布，現(xiàn)在的考慮就不太一樣了，因為兩次的檢測有陽性就可以定，這也是一個原因。
Zhong said a major reason for the surge in the number of cases over the past few days is that new testing methods have improved the efficiency of testing for suspected cases. 而對于防治方面，鐘南山表示：武漢減少輸出是非常重要的一個方面，武漢會有很嚴格的篩查檢測措施，特別是體溫檢測，體溫高的不建議離開武漢。

此外，鐘南山還表示，預防和控制最有效的方法是早發(fā)現(xiàn)早治療，確診病例的隔離治療非常重要。這個冠狀病毒沒有特效藥，但是現(xiàn)在正在進行一些動物試驗觀察，科學研究要跟上。春節(jié)期間，估計得病的人數(shù)還會有增加，要防止傳播，防止出現(xiàn)超級傳播者。

鐘南山院士指出，現(xiàn)在要提高警惕，全民、領導、政府、醫(yī)務人員，包括媒體，屬地的領導要負起責任，我們有信心能夠控制新型冠狀病毒。鐘南山表示，這次用兩周定位了新型冠狀病毒，再加上我們有很好的監(jiān)控以及隔離制度，相信疫情不會像17年前SARS造成的社會影響以及經(jīng)濟損害。
"We have confidence in controlling the new coronavirus. I believe the outbreak will not cause the impact on society and the economy that SARS did 17 years ago," Zhong said. "We identified the new coronavirus just two weeks after the outbreak was reported, and we have very good virus monitoring and quarantine measures."
根據(jù)武漢市衛(wèi)健委21日發(fā)布通報，1月19日22時-1月19日24時，武漢新型冠狀病毒肺炎新增死亡1例，無出院病例和新增病例。此外，武漢市共有15名醫(yī)務人員確診為新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎病例，另有1名為疑似病例。上海衛(wèi)健委21日早晨發(fā)布通報，上海確診第二例輸入性新型冠狀病毒感染肺炎病例。截至21日7點30分，我國境內(nèi)累計確診新型冠狀病毒肺炎病例219例（武漢198例，北京5例，廣東14例，上海2例）。
據(jù)央視新聞報道，武漢市成立市新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控指揮部，統(tǒng)一領導、指揮全市疫情防控工作。
