在與病毒搏斗40天后，在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上一直以積極態(tài)度鼓勵(lì)人們的“網(wǎng)紅醫(yī)生”余昌平出院了！
現(xiàn)年52歲的余昌平是武漢大學(xué)人民醫(yī)院的醫(yī)生，感染了新冠肺炎后卻意外成為網(wǎng)紅。在住院期間，他在網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺上用視頻形式，講解新冠肺炎相關(guān)科普知識，用幽默樂觀、積極向上的態(tài)度鼓舞大家。
Being an infected medical expert of COVID-19 in Central China’s Hubei Province, 52-year-old doctor Yu Changping from Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University unexpectedly became an internet celebrity after his short science popularization videos of the novel coronavirus pneumonia went viral for his humorous, optimistic, cheerful and encouraging attitudes.
1月中旬，作為人民大學(xué)呼吸內(nèi)科的副主任醫(yī)師的余昌平被確診為新冠肺炎，而在當(dāng)時(shí)普通民眾甚至醫(yī)生都對這一傳染性極強(qiáng)的病毒知之甚少，也沒有完備的防護(hù)措施。
Being the associate chief physician of the department of respiratory medicine at Renmin Hospital, Yu was diagnosed with COVID-19 in mid-January when most ordinary people and even doctors had little awareness of the strong infectiousness of the virus and did not take comprehensive protection measures.
余昌平是醫(yī)院新冠病毒防治專家組成員中首例感染者。在他發(fā)布的最火的一條視頻中，他這樣說道：“接觸那么多病人，總是會感染的，因?yàn)槲覜_在最前面，總有一天會倒下”。
“[Being a doctor] I had contact with many patients and had to stay on the frontline, so I knew that the day would come when I would be infected,” said Yu, the first infected member of the Hubei novel coronavirus prevention and control expert team in one of his popular videos.
17年前，余昌平帶領(lǐng)30人的團(tuán)隊(duì)抗擊SARS，當(dāng)時(shí)隊(duì)伍中無一人感染。然而他沒想到，自己會成為科室中第一個(gè)確診新冠肺炎的人。
Yu led a 30-member team to fight against SARS 17 years ago and no one on his team was infected with the virus at that time. He didn’t expect that he would become the first infected medical person in his department this time.
余昌平在視頻中自述確診和治療情況，希望給大家?guī)韺τ诩膊「逦茖W(xué)的解讀，同時(shí)也告訴大家，做好防護(hù)措施的前提下不要對病毒恐慌。
Yu narrated his diagnosis process and the treatment he received to viewers in the videos, expecting more people would have a clear and scientific understanding about the disease and not be panicked over the virus by taking good preventive measures.
余昌平說自己于1月14日開始發(fā)燒38.5度，但是沒有流鼻涕或咳嗽癥狀。當(dāng)時(shí)，他懷疑自己是普通感冒。但是當(dāng)17日看到自己的CT結(jié)果后，他給自己確診，并開始隔離。
“I had a fever of 38.5 C since January 14, but did not have any other symptoms such as a runny nose or cough,” said Yu, who suspected he had just caught a common cold but was soon put into quarantine on January 17 when he diagnosed himself with COVID-19 through his CT image.
4天后，他的病情變得嚴(yán)重起來，由于呼吸困難連續(xù)五天不能下床。
His condition became critical four days later and he was unable to get out of bed for five consecutive days because of difficulty breathing.
不過在視頻中，他展現(xiàn)給大家的是樂觀的情緒：“我平時(shí)身體比較好，抵抗能力強(qiáng)……我能吃能睡……我這么瀟灑，這么可愛，我死了多可惜啊。”
“[But] because I have a strong constitution, and I eat well, sleep well … what a pity if I die since I am so handsome and lovely?” said Yu, who attributed his beating the disease to his optimistic attitudes.
在余昌平住院期間，妻子一直在照顧。因此妻子也被感染，幸好是輕癥，恢復(fù)得比較快。他說：“我們倆不止是夫妻，更是生死之交，是可以換命的交情。”
經(jīng)過與病魔40天的斗爭，余昌平終于痊愈出院，進(jìn)入14天的隔離觀察期。他說要跟夫人一起出院。
Yu finally overcame the pneumonia after a 40-day battle. He was discharged from hospital and entered another 14-day observation quarantine period.
