據(jù)新華社報道，世界衛(wèi)生組織總干事譚德塞8日呼吁勿將新冠病毒當(dāng)作政治籌碼，應(yīng)在國家內(nèi)部、各國之間加強團(tuán)結(jié)，共同抗擊疫情。
針對美方指責(zé)世衛(wèi)組織、并聲稱將暫停向世衛(wèi)組織繳納會費一事，譚德塞在當(dāng)天例行記者會上回答有關(guān)提問時說，將疫情當(dāng)作政治籌碼相當(dāng)于“玩火”，應(yīng)該將“疫情政治化”這種做法“隔離”起來。他強調(diào)：“我們不應(yīng)浪費時間互相指責(zé)，我們需要團(tuán)結(jié)行動。”
Answering a question from the press about U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to freeze U.S. funding to the World Health Organization (WHO), WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said his message for the world at this moment is unity and solidarity, instead of politicizing the virus. 譚德塞強調(diào)，在國家層面，應(yīng)跨越黨派、信仰、意識形態(tài)等各種分歧，共同團(tuán)結(jié)抗疫。“當(dāng)一個國家內(nèi)部各政黨之間、各宗教團(tuán)體之間出現(xiàn)裂痕，病毒就會乘虛而入，打敗我們。”
譚德塞同時強調(diào)，中美之間、G20成員之間以及世界各國都需要真正團(tuán)結(jié)起來，只有這樣才能戰(zhàn)勝疫情。
"Now, the United States and China, all the rest of G20 and the rest of the world should come together to fight the virus," he said.
據(jù)CGTN報道，當(dāng)?shù)貢r間7日，美國總統(tǒng)特朗普表達(dá)了自己對世衛(wèi)組織的不滿，稱世衛(wèi)組織太“以中國為中心”。

4月8日，中國外交部發(fā)言人趙立堅主持例行記者會，有記者就此提問：美國總統(tǒng)特朗普表示，世衛(wèi)組織應(yīng)對疫情“搞砸了”，并稱美方考慮將暫停向世衛(wèi)組織繳納會費。中方有何評論？
趙立堅表示：

據(jù)世衛(wèi)組織數(shù)據(jù)顯示，截止北京時間9日9時，中國以外新冠肺炎確診病例超過127萬例，其中美國超43萬。
