A video clip showing a one-arm Chinese teenager playing basketball aroused widespread attention on Chinese social media platforms. In the video clip, the young teen was playing with superb basketball skills, doing crossover and behind-the-back dribbling moves, which drew cheers and acclamation from the audience.
甚至有網友說，第一次看到視頻的時候，都沒反應過來少年只有一只手臂。
"I didn't even realize he had only one arm when I first watched the video," said one netizen.
這位少年叫張家城，今年13歲，是廣東省云浮市云安區(qū)高村鎮(zhèn)人。5歲時，因為一場意外他失去了右臂。
The one-arm 13-year-old is a country boy from Yunfu City, south China's Guangdong Province. His name is Zhang Jiacheng. At age five, he lost his right arm after an accident.
不過，意外并沒有阻止他對籃球的熱愛。
However, it didn't stop him from pursuing basketball.
在社交媒體上，經常能看到這位少年發(fā)布的日常訓練視頻。
Many video clips of him practicing at home or on the basketball court circulate on the social media.
在家中、在操場上、每個可以打球的地方，也都有他練習的身影。他的愿望則是以后能打上正式的比賽。
而在面對比自己高大強壯對手的嚴密防守時，他絲毫沒有退縮，運球投籃充滿自信。
Even playing against players far taller and stronger than him, he still plays with firm determination and shoots the ball while being defended.
兩年前，張家城與籃球結緣，從此開啟了追求籃球夢的旅程。在接受采訪時他說自己“變開心了，也自信了，摸到了籃球就不想放下，拿起來有一種興奮的感覺。”他的老師也說，張家城訓練刻苦，平時放學后他會自覺拿籃球單手運球，以及進行1對1練習。
“要么努力，要么放棄”，這句話成了他的座右銘。

張家城的籃球技術，以及他樂觀堅韌的性格，也令職業(yè)籃球人贊嘆?，F(xiàn)中國男子籃球職業(yè)聯(lián)賽廣東宏遠華南虎俱樂部的總經理、同時也是前國手的朱芳雨說道，從來沒有看到過一個孩子技術這么好。同時，他還向張家城發(fā)出邀請，等聯(lián)賽恢復后來觀看球隊比賽。
His basketball skills as well as his optimism and persistence received praises from China's professional basketball players. "I've never seen a child play basketball better than him," said former Chinese national basketball player Zhu Fangyu. Zhu, now the manager of the Guangdong Southern Tigers team, sent a warm invitation to Zhang to come watch the team play after the season resumes.
同為廣東隊國手的CBA總得分王易建聯(lián)則在微博上轉發(fā)了張家城視頻，并且評價：心，永遠都會是身體里最強壯的部位。
While his former teammate, CBA's all-time leading scorer Yi Jianlian, revealed similar thoughts after watching him play, saying: "The heart always remains as the strongest part of the body."
