據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，世界衛(wèi)生組織（WHO）于日內(nèi)瓦時(shí)間6月8日表示，全球新冠疫情正在惡化，過去10天中有9天各國向該組織報(bào)告的新增確診病例數(shù)超過10萬，7日新增病例數(shù)為疫情暴發(fā)以來最高。



世衛(wèi)組織總干事譚德塞當(dāng)天在記者會(huì)上說，各國目前已向該組織報(bào)告近700萬例新冠病例，近40萬人死亡。雖然歐洲的情況正在改善，但全球疫情正在惡化。

The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Monday said that although the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak in Europe is improving, globally it is worsening.  "Almost 7 million cases of COVID-19 have now been reported to WHO, and almost 400,000 deaths," Tedros said.

過去10天中有9天各國向世衛(wèi)組織報(bào)告的新增病例數(shù)超過10萬，而7日的13.6萬例是迄今為止單日最高。

According to Tedros, more than 100,000 cases have been reported to the WHO in nine of the past 10 days, and on June 7, more than 136,000 cases were reported, "the most in a single day so far."

譚德塞表示，7日新增病例中近75%來自10個(gè)國家，其中大部分集中在美洲和南亞。此外，東歐和中亞部分地區(qū)病例數(shù)也在不斷上升。

He said that almost 75% of the cases come from 10 countries, mostly in the Americas and South Asia. "We also see increasing numbers of cases in parts of Eastern Europe and Central Asia," he told reporters.

非洲國家雖然病例數(shù)也在增加，疫情還擴(kuò)散至新的地理區(qū)域，但大多數(shù)非洲國家的病例都在1000例以下。

Tedros said that most countries in Africa are still experiencing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, with some reporting them in new geographic areas, although most countries in the region have less than 1,000 cases.

針對(duì)近期全球反對(duì)種族主義運(yùn)動(dòng)，世衛(wèi)組織鼓勵(lì)各地安全舉行抗議活動(dòng)，建議活動(dòng)參與者盡可能與他人保持至少1米距離，注意清潔雙手、咳嗽時(shí)掩住口鼻、戴上口罩等。

Tedros said that WHO fully supports equality and the global movement against racism. He advised that if people do attend a protest, they should keep at least one meter from each other, clean their hands, cover coughs and wear masks.

譚德塞還強(qiáng)調(diào)，追蹤病例接觸者仍是疫情應(yīng)對(duì)措施的一項(xiàng)基本內(nèi)容。世衛(wèi)組織鼓勵(lì)各國加強(qiáng)基本公共衛(wèi)生措施，包括發(fā)現(xiàn)、隔離、檢測和護(hù)理每個(gè)病例，并追蹤和隔離每個(gè)病例接觸者。
