對(duì)此，華春瑩表示，在英國(guó)對(duì)香港156年殖民統(tǒng)治期間，香港有過(guò)民主和自由嗎？28位港督當(dāng)中，哪一位是由香港民眾選舉產(chǎn)生的？那個(gè)時(shí)候港人有上街抗議示威的自由嗎？

“Pompeo said that China denied Hong Kong residents freedoms. Here are some questions for him: did Hong Kong ever enjoy any democracy or freedom during the 156 years under British colonial rule? Was any of the former 28 Hong Kong governors elected by the Hong Kong residents? Did the Hong Kong residents then enjoy the freedom to take to the street for demonstration? ”

近日，美國(guó)共和黨參議員斯科特受訪時(shí)稱，美方有證據(jù)表明中國(guó)正試圖破壞或延緩（slow down or sabotage）西方國(guó)家研發(fā)新冠肺炎疫苗，不希望美國(guó)率先研發(fā)出疫苗，但拒絕透露證據(jù)細(xì)節(jié)。

對(duì)此，華春瑩表示，這位議員既然說(shuō)美方有證據(jù)表明中方試圖破壞西方國(guó)家研發(fā)新冠肺炎疫苗，那么就請(qǐng)他拿出證據(jù)來(lái)，不用羞羞答答。美方編造對(duì)中國(guó)的各種誣陷、造謠、抹黑、誹謗，實(shí)在太多了。
