巴西總統(tǒng)博索納羅7日上午在當(dāng)?shù)囟嗉颐襟w聯(lián)合直播中宣布，他本人6日進(jìn)行的新冠病毒檢測(cè)結(jié)果為陽(yáng)性。

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro announced on Tuesday that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

據(jù)CNN報(bào)道，博索納羅表示，他5日開(kāi)始感覺(jué)身體不適，6日情況加劇，出現(xiàn)乏力、肌肉酸痛等癥狀，體溫最高達(dá)到38度，總統(tǒng)府醫(yī)生認(rèn)為他可能感染新冠病毒。隨后，他前往醫(yī)院進(jìn)行肺部X光檢查。

"On Sunday, I wasn't feeling very well. On Monday, it got worse when I started feeling tired and some muscle pain. I also had a 38-degree [Celsius] fever. Given those symptoms, the presidential doctor said there was suspicion of Covid-19," Bolsonaro said, adding that he then went to hospital to receive a lung scan.

博索納羅在接受巴西電視媒體采訪時(shí)公布這一結(jié)果，他說(shuō)“每個(gè)人都知道，新冠早晚會(huì)影響到相當(dāng)一部分人口。我現(xiàn)在檢測(cè)呈陽(yáng)性。我不再與任何人會(huì)面，所有活動(dòng)將通過(guò)視頻會(huì)議形式進(jìn)行。”

Bolsonaro himself announced the result, speaking on Brazilian TV channels Tuesday. "Everyone knew that it would reach a considerable part of the population sooner or later. It was positive for me," he said, referring to the Covid-19 test he took Monday. "I'm not going to see anyone for meetings. Everything will be done via video conference," he said.

盡管目前尚無(wú)科學(xué)研究表明存在針對(duì)新冠病毒的特效藥，但博索納羅表示，他已經(jīng)服用羥氯喹和阿奇霉素，癥狀在6日晚得到緩解，目前感覺(jué)良好。

外媒：抗疫不力，“忽視新冠嚴(yán)重性”

博索納羅還說(shuō)，病毒極為致命，對(duì)于像他一樣的65歲以上老年人以及那些有合并癥和其他疾病的的人尤其如此。

"We know the fatality of the virus for those of a certain age, like me, above 65, as well as for those with comorbidities, diseases, other issues. In those cases, the virus could be decisive and lead to death," he said.

這番表態(tài)與博索納羅之前的說(shuō)法并不相符。據(jù)BBC報(bào)道，今年4月，博索納羅說(shuō)即使他感染病毒，也“不會(huì)擔(dān)心”，因?yàn)樽约嚎赡軟](méi)什么感覺(jué)，就像是很輕微的流感或者感冒著涼。

Back in April, Bolsonaro said that even if infected, he would "not have to worry as I wouldn't feel anything, at most it would be like a little flu or a little cold".




對(duì)于新冠病毒，BBC在報(bào)道中羅列了幾條博索納羅的言論，包括“其他類型流感的死亡人數(shù)比新冠多（3月11日）”，“巴西熱帶氣候，新冠疫情已經(jīng)到了尾聲或者已經(jīng)結(jié)束了……病毒不會(huì)在我們這樣的炎熱天氣傳播（3月18日）”，“我不會(huì)被輕微流感擊倒（3月20日）”
 

  
CNN也認(rèn)為，博索納羅一直以來(lái)都沒(méi)有重視疫情的嚴(yán)重性。

Bolsonaro has often appeared in public and at rallies without a face mask, even hugging supporters.

The president was tested three times in March, following a trip to the U.S. in which 20 members of his delegation or people he met with later tested positive for COVID-19.

This week's positive result comes just days after he attended a July 4th commemoration event with the US Ambassador to Brazil.

另?yè)?jù)路透社報(bào)道，博索納羅處理疫情的方式也遭到公共衛(wèi)生專家的批評(píng)，他反對(duì)巴西各州、市的社交距離政策，并且聲稱因此產(chǎn)生的經(jīng)濟(jì)影響遠(yuǎn)比疾病本身嚴(yán)重。他還解雇了兩任衛(wèi)生部長(zhǎng)，而這兩人都是醫(yī)生出身。

Bolsonaro’s handling of the crisis has drawn criticism from public health experts as he fought state and city efforts to impose social distancing, arguing that the economic damage would be worse than the disease itself. He has fired two health ministers during the pandemic, both trained doctors.

Brazil is second only to the United States in numbers of coronavirus infections and deaths.

"I have to admit, I thought I had gotten it earlier," he said on Tuesday. "Because of my contact with the people, I thought I had contracted it already and not noticed it, like the majority of the Brazilian population that contracts the virus, and doesn't know," he continued. With coronavirus tests hard to come by in the country, some local experts say the real number of people infected could be 12 to 16 times higher.
