美國時間10日晚，白宮附近發(fā)生槍擊事件，正在白宮新聞簡報室的總統(tǒng)特朗普一度被特工處人員護送離開。

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday afternoon was temporarily escorted by a Secret Service agent from an ongoing coronavirus briefing after a shooting was reported outside the White House.

 

據CNN報道，當時簡報會僅開始幾分鐘，特朗普講話時一位特勤人員上前打斷，并希望特朗普暫時離開。

Trump had been midsentence during the first attempt at a briefing when security came into the room and asked him to leave the area.

特朗普在看到工作人員近前時還問道：“怎么了”？然后工作人員簡單回應他“到外面去”。特朗普“哦”了一聲便離開了簡報室。

"Excuse me?" Trump asked when the security approached.

"Step outside," the agent said.

"Oh," Trump said before departing the room.

同時可以聽到臺下的記者們在問“發(fā)生了什么事？”以及按下快門的聲音。



幾分鐘后，特朗普返回新聞簡報室繼續(xù)舉行記者會，并確認了槍擊事件。據他透露，白宮外發(fā)生槍擊事件，局面“似乎得到很好控制”。 他說，特工處人員朝一名帶有武器的嫌疑人開槍，沒有其他人受傷。

Trump returned to the briefing room minutes later, confirming a shooting."There was a shooting outside of the White House," Trump said when he returned. "It seems to be very well under control," Trump said. No one else was injured, according to the president. "It was the suspect that was shot."

特工處在社交媒體上發(fā)表聲明說，槍擊事件發(fā)生在白宮西側道路上，執(zhí)法人員正在現(xiàn)場。隨后，特工處在晚些時候的推特中表示調查“正在進行”，但是沒有人闖入白宮建筑群，被保護對象也沒有危險。

After he returned to the podium, the Secret Service tweeted that there had been an officer-involved shooting at 17th Street Northwest and Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest. The Secret Service said later Monday on Twitter that an investigation of the shooting "is ongoing" but that "at no time during this incident was the White House complex breached or were any protectees in danger."
 


在隨后的發(fā)布會上，有記者提問，當特朗普離開簡報室后，他是否被特工人員帶去地堡？特朗普則表示，他只是被帶去了白宮的橢圓辦公室。

Trump said he was not taken to the protective bunker.He said he has been taken to the Oval Office when he was evacuated.

特朗普還稱這一事件讓他和現(xiàn)場記者一樣感到意外（surprised），而且“很不同尋常（pretty unusual）”。
