8月14日晚，在常德火車站內(nèi)，一位中年男子突發(fā)疾病倒地，不省人事。前往成都參加考試的兩名女醫(yī)學(xué)生立即跪地進(jìn)行心肺復(fù)蘇和人工呼吸，整個(gè)過(guò)程近20分鐘，直到救護(hù)車到達(dá)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)前，兩人都沒(méi)有放棄。不過(guò)最終，患者的生命依然沒(méi)能挽回。 



This happened outside Changde Railway Station on Aug 14, as borne out from a closed circuit television camera feed. A man fell down on the ground outside the station and two medical students rushed to him. They administered cardio-pulmonary resuscitation for 20 minutes, till an ambulance arrived and rushed the man to hospital. However, the man died there.

In a video that has since gone viral on Weibo with over 30 million views, Peng Jieting and Chen Jiali were shown kneeling on the ground beside the man trying to rescue him. They shed tears when the man died despite their best efforts, the clip showed.

據(jù)報(bào)道，成都中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)眼科學(xué)院教授、附屬銀海眼科醫(yī)院院長(zhǎng)段俊國(guó)是彭婕婷的老師，他說(shuō)彭婕婷和陳家利是成都中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)碩士研究生，有三年臨床經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

段俊國(guó)在接受采訪時(shí)表示，大醫(yī)精誠(chéng)獎(jiǎng)命名來(lái)源于孫思邈，意味著一名優(yōu)秀的行醫(yī)者既要有精湛的醫(yī)術(shù)，又要有高尚的品德修養(yǎng)。彭婕婷和陳家利用實(shí)際行動(dòng)踐行了“大醫(yī)精誠(chéng)”的精髓。這樣的行為值得鼓勵(lì)。

“We named the prize ‘da yi jing cheng,’ a term originally from renowned ancient Chinese medical expert Sun Simiao, which means ‘a good doctor/nurse must have both great medical skills and ethics,’” Duan said.

段俊國(guó)同時(shí)建議公眾學(xué)習(xí)了解急救技巧及基本操作，以應(yīng)對(duì)突發(fā)事件。

Duan also suggested the public should learn first-aid skills and grasp basic rescue methods for possible emergencies.

而對(duì)于“校長(zhǎng)特別獎(jiǎng)”，彭婕婷表示這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)的份量很重：“感謝學(xué)校、老師對(duì)我們行為的認(rèn)可。我想，這是每一名醫(yī)學(xué)生的職責(zé)。”
