繼武漢水上派對(duì)被法新社報(bào)道后（戳這里回顧），山東青島的啤酒節(jié)也火上了外媒！8月29日，澳大利亞廣播公司（ABC）用大量篇幅介紹了中國(guó)青島國(guó)際啤酒節(jié)。

ABC的報(bào)道寫道，如今舉辦泳池派對(duì)，或者人們?cè)诩偃罩斜枷蛏碁┮呀?jīng)司空見(jiàn)慣了。青島甚至舉辦了為期三周的啤酒節(jié)，這里有過(guò)去幾個(gè)月都不曾想象的畫面：人群。

Now, it's not uncommon to see pool parties and people hitting the beach for holidays. In the port city of Qingdao, they even held a three-week beer festival, drawing in what would have been unthinkable just months ago: huge crowds.

據(jù)新華網(wǎng)報(bào)道，8月16日晚，為期17天的第30屆青島國(guó)際啤酒節(jié)在青島西海岸新區(qū)金沙灘啤酒城圓滿落幕。本屆啤酒節(jié)首創(chuàng)“線上+線下”辦節(jié)新模式，在做好疫情防控的同時(shí)，為廣大游客提供了來(lái)自40多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的1500余款啤酒，還舉辦了200余場(chǎng)經(jīng)貿(mào)、文體活動(dòng)。

ABC：人口超10億卻消滅疫情，非同尋常的成就

ABC在報(bào)道中說(shuō)：中國(guó)這樣人口超過(guò)10億的國(guó)家，已經(jīng)幾乎消滅了疫情，這是非同尋常的成就。

It marks an extraordinary achievement, with China close to eliminating COVID-19 despite being a densely populated country of more than 1 billion people.

報(bào)道稱，疫情暴發(fā)時(shí)，中國(guó)政府采取了強(qiáng)制性的智能手機(jī)溯源系統(tǒng)，不斷推廣佩戴口罩，以及精準(zhǔn)的封閉隔離措施?，F(xiàn)在看來(lái)，這些嚴(yán)格且具有針對(duì)性的措施都收獲了成效。

China's Government has used compulsory smartphone tracking systems, constant promotion of masks and targeted lockdowns to snuff out outbreaks when they emerge. And it appears as if the strict and targeted measures are starting to pay off.

對(duì)比其他國(guó)家現(xiàn)狀，中國(guó)生活重回正軌

文中提到，在與中國(guó)人口數(shù)量相近規(guī)模的印度，8月份曾出現(xiàn)過(guò)最多6萬(wàn)的日新增病例。人口大約為中國(guó)四分之一的美國(guó)，城市密度也更小，但是也出現(xiàn)過(guò)日增4萬(wàn)病例。甚至有戴口罩習(xí)慣的日本，面對(duì)卷土重來(lái)的疫情也在8月份出現(xiàn)過(guò)日增超1000病例的情況。

In comparison, India — the only country with a similar population to China — recorded around 60,000 new infections per day in August. The US, which has less than a quarter of China's population and less urban density, is recording around 40,000 cases a day. Even Japan, a country whose citizens have diligently embraced masks, recorded more than 1,000 new daily cases throughout most of August during a renewed flare-up.

The result, compared to other large-population countries, is nothing short of extraordinary. The extent of the reopening in recent months and the relaxation of control measures suggest the low numbers are broadly accurate.

中國(guó)相對(duì)成功的防范了疫情的進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)散，使得國(guó)家更迅速地重啟經(jīng)濟(jì)——特別是工廠和建筑行業(yè)——這對(duì)于澳大利亞以及其他依賴中國(guó)市場(chǎng)的出口經(jīng)濟(jì)體是好消息。

“這才是控制疫情該做的工作：早期封閉隔離，粉碎（而非平緩）疫情曲線，撲滅本地疫情二次暴發(fā)。通過(guò)這些，中國(guó)已經(jīng)舉辦啤酒節(jié)了，而慕尼黑還不能人群聚集。”（注：文中的Oktoberfest原意為慕尼黑啤酒節(jié)，又稱十月節(jié)。）
