繼TikTok（抖音海外版）被美國(guó)政府宣布封殺后，YouTube近日宣布上線新功能，只不過經(jīng)外媒評(píng)測(cè)，這些功能都和TikTok太像了……

據(jù)BBC報(bào)道，YouTube宣布將在印度開始測(cè)試名為YouTube Shorts的新功能，新功能里視頻時(shí)間控制在15秒以內(nèi)，還包括了與TikTok相似的內(nèi)容創(chuàng)作工具。

YouTube has announced it will test a beta version of its new TikTok rival in India. YouTube Shorts will limit videos to 15 seconds, and the platform will feature creator tools that are similar to TikTok's.

值得注意的是，印度已經(jīng)在今年6月份封殺了包含TikTok在內(nèi)的59款中國(guó)應(yīng)用軟件（戳這里回顧）。而在當(dāng)時(shí)，印度還是TikTok最大的海外市場(chǎng)，大約有1.2億用戶。如今，YouTube將與一眾印度本土廠商爭(zhēng)奪TikTok被封殺后留下的市場(chǎng)空白。

India banned TikTok and 58 other Chinese apps in June. At the time, India was TikTok's biggest foreign market, with an estimated 120 million users. YouTube will also be in competition with a number of local competitors who have rushed in to fill the void after TikTok's ban in India.

YouTube產(chǎn)品管理副總裁Chris Jaffe在博客中發(fā)文表示，新功能“為那些只想用手機(jī)拍攝吸引眼球的短視頻內(nèi)容創(chuàng)造者和藝術(shù)家”打造。新的平臺(tái)中可以拼接視頻片段、控制視頻速度、使用倒計(jì)時(shí)拍攝解放雙手。除了拍攝時(shí)的音樂，用戶還可以使用歌曲庫。

In a blog post, YouTube's vice president of product management Chris Jaffe said Shorts is "for creators and artists who want to shoot short, catchy videos using nothing but their mobile phones". The new platform features a multi-segment camera to string multiple video clips together, speed controls, and a timer and countdown to record hands-free. Shorts also gives users the option to record using music as well as access to a library of songs.

Jaffe表示當(dāng)產(chǎn)品更加完善、增加更多功能后，將推廣到其他市場(chǎng)中。

Mr Jaffe said Shorts would be expanded to other markets as the product becomes more refined and new features were added.

美國(guó)《綜藝》雜志網(wǎng)站則比較直白，報(bào)道中干脆認(rèn)為，YouTube發(fā)布的15秒短視頻平臺(tái)，就是TikTok“山寨版”。
 


《綜藝》雜志網(wǎng)站在報(bào)道中還指出，就在YouTube Shorts進(jìn)軍短視頻領(lǐng)域之前，臉書的Instagram也于上個(gè)月發(fā)布了名為Reels的產(chǎn)品，其視頻創(chuàng)作工具和TikTok也很相似。

The introduction of YouTube Shorts also comes after Facebook’s Instagram last month launched Reels, with video creation tools very similar TikTok.

《每日郵報(bào)》的報(bào)道則指出，對(duì)于坐擁8億用戶的TikTok而言，無論是Reels還是YouTube 推出的新功能，都屬于“克隆”。

TikTok：與甲骨文達(dá)成協(xié)議

就在競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手推出高度相似的新品之際，TikTok的收購談判也傳來了新消息。

甲骨文公司證實(shí)，已與TikTok所有者字節(jié)跳動(dòng)達(dá)成協(xié)議，成為其“可信技術(shù)提供商”。

YouTube's latest product release comes as the US tech firm Oracle confirmed that TikTok's owner ByteDance had formally proposed becoming a "trusted technology partner" in the US.

而此前盛傳的微軟卻沒能如愿收購TikTok。
 


TikTok表示已向美國(guó)政府提交了一份提案，相信可以解決美國(guó)政府的“安全顧慮”。Tiktok表示：“該提案能幫助我們繼續(xù)支持在美國(guó)1億用戶的社區(qū)，他們喜愛TikTok，通過平臺(tái)實(shí)現(xiàn)連接、尋找娛樂；同時(shí)還有數(shù)十萬小企業(yè)和創(chuàng)作者依賴TikTok獲得生計(jì)，發(fā)展有意義的事業(yè)。”

TikTok said Monday it had submitted a proposal to the U.S. administration to resolve its "security concerns," in order to continue the company's operation in the future.TikTok said in a statement that the proposal "would enable us to continue supporting our community of 100 million people in the U.S. who love TikTok for connection and entertainment, and the hundreds of thousands of small business owners and creators who rely upon TikTok to grow their livelihoods and build meaningful careers."

The two companies' statements followed U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's note during an interview with CNBC early Monday."We did get a proposal over the weekend that includes Oracle as the trusted technology partner, with Oracle making many representations for national security issues," Mnuchin said. "There is also a commitment to create TikTok Global as a U.S.-headquartered company with 20,000 new jobs."

另據(jù)《金融時(shí)報(bào)》16日?qǐng)?bào)道，交易后，字節(jié)跳動(dòng)決定將TikTok的總部保留在美國(guó)，并且仍然將是TikTok的控股股東，甲骨文注資成為少數(shù)股股東之一，這些少數(shù)股股東可能還包括零售巨頭沃爾瑪。

ByteDance, the founder of Tik-Tok will place Tik-Tok's global business in a new US-based company and remain as the majority shareholder with Oracle investing in it as a minority stakeholder, according to UK's Financial Times on Wednesday. Other US investors, potentially including the world's largest retailer Walmart, would own a minority stake, the paper reported.
