28日，外交部回應(yīng)蓬佩奧再提“中國(guó)威脅“。外交部發(fā)言人汪文斌表示：蓬佩奧聲稱的“中國(guó)威脅”，不過(guò)是“蓬氏謊言”的陳詞濫調(diào)。

在28日的外交部例行記者會(huì)上，有記者問(wèn)：“美國(guó)務(wù)卿蓬佩奧27日接受印度媒體采訪，再次攻擊中國(guó)和中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨，聲稱整個(gè)世界都面臨中國(guó)實(shí)現(xiàn)其民族復(fù)興志向的挑戰(zhàn)。中方對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？”

汪文斌表示：

蓬佩奧聲稱的“中國(guó)威脅”，不過(guò)是“蓬氏謊言”的陳詞濫調(diào)。蓬佩奧把民眾滿意度高達(dá)93%的中國(guó)政府說(shuō)成是“暴政”，把138個(gè)國(guó)家和30個(gè)國(guó)際組織同中國(guó)開(kāi)展共建“一帶一路”合作歪曲成“掠奪”，把14億中國(guó)人民謀求和平發(fā)展和民族復(fù)興污蔑為“威脅”。其實(shí)質(zhì)，是想讓中國(guó)倒退到貧窮、落后的時(shí)代，讓世界再墜入對(duì)抗、分裂的深淵。這才是當(dāng)今世界面臨的最大威脅。 

Trying to paint China as a threat is nothing but a cliche from Pompeo's repertoire of lies. He called the Chinese government, towards which the Chinese people's satisfaction exceeds 93 percent, a "tyranny", misrepresented BRI cooperation between 138 countries and 30 international organizations and China as "predatory activities", and maligned the 1.4 billion Chinese people's pursuit of national rejuvenation through peaceful development as a "threat". What he wants essentially is for China to regress to poverty and backwardness, and for the world to backslide into the abyss of confrontation and division. 遺憾的是，蓬佩奧生錯(cuò)了年代。當(dāng)今時(shí)代和平、發(fā)展、合作、共贏的潮流不可阻擋。貧窮落后不再是任何一個(gè)國(guó)家和民族的代名詞，發(fā)展強(qiáng)大也不再是任何一個(gè)國(guó)家的專利和特權(quán)。蓬佩奧的歪曲抹黑之詞抹殺不了中國(guó)堅(jiān)持和平發(fā)展、合作共贏的事實(shí)，也阻擋不了中國(guó)實(shí)現(xiàn)民族復(fù)興的大勢(shì)。中國(guó)是機(jī)遇而不是威脅、是伙伴而不是對(duì)手。這是全世界絕大多數(shù)國(guó)家的共識(shí)。蓬佩奧之流鼓吹反共反華、煽動(dòng)對(duì)抗分裂的言行，同全世界人民謀發(fā)展、求合作的普遍愿望背道而馳，終究逃脫不了失敗的結(jié)局。

China is an opportunity, not a threat, a partner, not a rival. This is the consensus of the vast majority of countries. The anti-CPC, anti-China words and deeds by the likes of Pompeo that fan confrontation and division are by no means a force for good. They run counter to the universal aspiration for development and cooperation and are eventually doomed to fail.
