11月18日，在外交部例行記者會上，有記者向外交部發(fā)言人趙立堅提問：近期，多國企業(yè)新冠肺炎疫苗研發(fā)取得了新的進展。我們知道，中國有幾家企業(yè)的疫苗也在多國開展臨床試驗，你可否介紹更多情況？中方參與疫苗國際合作進展如何？
趙立堅表示：感謝你對中國相關企業(yè)疫苗研發(fā)進展的關注。疫苗是抵御新冠病毒的有力武器。中國疫苗研發(fā)進展可以用兩個“五”來概括：
Thank you for your attention on Chinese vaccine R&D. Vaccines are powerful weapons against the coronavirus. China's vaccine development progress can be summed up in two "fives" :

第一個“五”，新冠肺炎疫情發(fā)生以來，中國政府第一時間布局了滅活疫苗、重組蛋白疫苗、腺病毒載體疫苗、減毒流感病毒載體疫苗和核酸疫苗五條技術(shù)路線，規(guī)范有序開展研發(fā)工作。第二個“五”，中國已有5支疫苗正在阿聯(lián)酋、巴西、巴基斯坦、秘魯?shù)榷鄧_展III期臨床試驗，另有多支疫苗正在加緊推進I、II期臨床試驗。
First, after the pandemic broke out, the Chinese government at the earliest time possible laid out five technical routes including inactivated vaccine, recombinant protein vaccine, adenoviral vector vaccine, attenuated influenza vaccine and nucleic acid vaccine. Vaccine research and development has been carried out in an orderly manner. Second, five Chinese vaccine candidates are under clinical trials in countries including the UAE, Brazil, Pakistan and Peru, and phase one and phase two clinical trials of some other vaccines are accelerated.
中國疫苗研發(fā)單位和廣大科研工作者嚴格依據(jù)科學規(guī)律和監(jiān)管要求，夜以繼日、全力以赴推進疫苗研發(fā)，為此付出艱辛努力。我和大家一樣都期待著能夠盡早聽到他們的好消息。

關于疫苗國際合作，中國政府和企業(yè)一直積極通過多雙邊渠道參與疫苗國際合作。除了剛才提到的同有關國家合作開展疫苗研發(fā)外，中方也同世界衛(wèi)生組織、全球疫苗免疫聯(lián)盟、流行病防范創(chuàng)新聯(lián)盟等國際組織保持密切溝通與合作，加入了世衛(wèi)組織“全球合作加速開發(fā)、生產(chǎn)、公平獲取新冠肺炎防控新工具”倡議和“團結(jié)計劃”國際多中心臨床試驗。中方還加入了“新冠疫苗實施計劃”，以促進疫苗公平分配，確保為發(fā)展中國家提供疫苗，同時帶動更多有能力的國家支持“實施計劃”。中方期待中國疫苗研發(fā)完成后能夠盡早被納入“實施計劃”采購清單，為實現(xiàn)疫苗在發(fā)展中國家的可及性和可負擔性做出自己的貢獻。
The Chinese government and companies have been proactively participating in international cooperation on vaccines through bilateral and multilateral channels. Besides cooperation with the countries I talked about earlier, China is also in close communication and cooperation with international organizations such as the WHO, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations. We are part of the WHO-sponsored Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator initiative and the Solidarity Trial for COVID-19 treatments. China has also joined COVAX to promote fair distribution of vaccines, ensure the provision of vaccines for developing countries, and encourage more capable countries to support COVAX. We hope Chinese vaccines will be included in COVAX's procurement list as soon as possible after their development, which will contribute to the accessibility and affordability of vaccines in developing countries.
據(jù)新華社報道，中國團隊17日在英國期刊《柳葉刀•傳染病》上發(fā)表報告說，他們對新冠病毒滅活疫苗克爾來福開展的Ⅰ/Ⅱ期隨機雙盲對照臨床試驗結(jié)果顯示，這一候選疫苗安全并能在健康志愿者身上誘導產(chǎn)生免疫應答。
A Chinese inactivated COVID-19 vaccine candidate has been proved safe and tolerable and can induce a quick immune response, according to the findings from early and mid-stage clinical trials published in the journal The Lancet Infectious Diseases. The vaccine, CoronaVac, was developed by a Chinese biopharmaceutical producer Sinovac Biotech.

江蘇省疾病預防控制中心等機構(gòu)的研究人員于4月16日至5月5日對新冠滅活疫苗克爾來福進行了Ⅰ/Ⅱ期隨機雙盲對照臨床試驗。團隊在中國招募了超過700名18歲至59歲健康志愿者參與試驗。
It was tested in randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled phase-1 and phase-2 clinical trials involving more than 700 healthy adults aged 18 to 59.
報告說，盡管疫苗在志愿者體內(nèi)誘導出的抗體水平比一些曾感染新冠病毒并已康復的人體內(nèi)所觀察到的抗體水平低，但研究人員認為，該疫苗已可以保護人體不被病毒感染。
The level of antibodies induced by the vaccine was lower than those in people who had recovered from COVID-19, whereas it was capable of protecting the human body from infections caused by the virus, the findings said.
