U.S President Donald Trump said for the first time Thursday he will leave office if the Electoral College votes for President-elect Joe Biden but made clear he's not prepared to concede.
當(dāng)時，有記者向特朗普提問，如果拜登在12月14日宣布勝選，他是否會離開白宮。特朗普回答道：“當(dāng)然，我會離開，你了解的。”CNN報道稱，選舉人團(tuán)將于12月14日碰面，公布最終結(jié)果。
"Certainly I will, and you know that," Trump said when asked by a reporter about leaving the White House if Biden is declared the winner on December 14. The electors are scheduled to meet on Dec. 14 to formalize the outcome.
特朗普說，承認(rèn)敗選是件非常困難的事情，“因為我們知道其中有大規(guī)模舞弊”，不過他并沒有提供相關(guān)證據(jù)。
"It's going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud," Trump said without evidence.
他補(bǔ)充道，如果選舉人團(tuán)宣布拜登勝選，那么就是“犯了錯誤，因為選舉舞弊”。同時，他還對提問記者說道：“別那樣對我說話，我是美國總統(tǒng)，永遠(yuǎn)不要跟總統(tǒng)那樣說話。”
The President added that if Biden is declared the winner, the Electoral College, "made a mistake, cause this election was a fraud." Pressed on his comments, Trump snapped at the reporter. "Don't talk to me that way. I'm the President of the United States. Don't ever talk to the president that way," he said.

Newsweek observed that Trump’s Twitter following dropped by 12,476 followers Tuesday and by almost 6,000 more on Monday. On Sunday, he lost 19,164 followers. According to that report, it’s possible that Twitter’s crackdown on bots – accounts not run by humans – is bringing down Trump’s still massive numbers. The president still has nearly 89 million followers.
