前幾日，一架波音747-400型貨機(jī)飛行途中發(fā)動機(jī)部件掉落，引發(fā)外媒關(guān)注。
據(jù)報道，這架波音747-400型貨機(jī)隸屬長尾航空公司，20日從荷蘭馬斯特里赫特機(jī)場起飛，前往美國紐約。貨機(jī)起飛不久后發(fā)動機(jī)出現(xiàn)問題，發(fā)動機(jī)的一些金屬零部件碎片從空中掉落在荷蘭南部小鎮(zhèn)梅爾森，砸傷一名女性、砸中一些車輛。
An incident involving a Boeing 747-400 cargo plane that dropped engine parts after a mid-air explosion and fire over the southern Netherlands last Saturday. The Longtail Aviation cargo plane, flight 5504, scattered small metal parts over the Dutch town of Meerssen, causing damage and injuring a woman shortly after take-off.

長尾航空747-400貨機(jī)、美聯(lián)航777-200客機(jī)都使用普惠公司PW4000系列發(fā)動機(jī)，但具體型號不同。普惠公司是位于美國的一家技術(shù)公司，是世界著名航空發(fā)動機(jī)供應(yīng)商之一。
The Longtail Aviation cargo plane, which was headed from Maastricht to New York, was powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines, a smaller version of those on a United Airlines Boeing 777 involved in an incident in Denver, also on Saturday.
波音公司22日表示，目前正支持美國國家運(yùn)輸安全委員會的調(diào)查，荷蘭安全委員會正在主導(dǎo)有關(guān)長尾航空公司貨機(jī)發(fā)動機(jī)故障的調(diào)查。

A preliminary investigation indicates the damage was "consistent with metal fatigue," according to information from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which has prompted federal regulators to reexamine engine inspections.

英國時間2月23日，中國駐英國使館網(wǎng)站發(fā)布使館發(fā)言人就《衛(wèi)報》在一則新聞中錯誤配發(fā)涉華圖片一事答記者問。
該發(fā)言人表示：“有關(guān)報道錯誤配發(fā)帶有中國國際航空公司標(biāo)識的新聞圖片，對中國企業(yè)形象造成負(fù)面影響，對讀者造成誤導(dǎo)，是典型的不負(fù)責(zé)任、失實(shí)報道。中國駐英使館對此表示嚴(yán)重關(guān)切、強(qiáng)烈不滿。我們要求相關(guān)媒體給出解釋并立即作出更正，向‘假新聞圖片’的受害者道歉。中方保留作出進(jìn)一步反應(yīng)的權(quán)利。”

目前，《衛(wèi)報》該篇報道的配圖已經(jīng)更換，文章結(jié)尾處另有“于2月23日更換圖片”的提示，但卻未就此事進(jìn)行說明道歉。
24日晚，中國國際航空官方微博發(fā)文稱，國航與英國《衛(wèi)報》進(jìn)行了嚴(yán)正交涉，對其失實(shí)報道、不負(fù)責(zé)任行為表示強(qiáng)烈不滿，要求其立即更正不實(shí)內(nèi)容并正式公開道歉。國航目前已向?qū)Ψ剿瓦_(dá)律師函。 ????
