美國時間6月4日，臉書公司宣布，將封禁特朗普的賬號至2023年1月7日——屆時封禁將滿兩年。

Facebook announced Friday that former President Donald Trump would be suspended from its platform until at least January 7th, 2023 -- two years from when he was initially suspended.



臉書公司的全球事務主管尼克·克萊格在社交媒體寫道：“我們認為他的行為嚴重違背平臺規(guī)則，依據新執(zhí)行條例對他施行最嚴厲處罰……如果我們確認仍會對公共安全構成一系列風險，我們將延長限制期限并持續(xù)評估直至風險消退。”

"We believe his actions constituted a severe violation of our rules which merit the highest penalty available under the new enforcement protocols," Nick Clegg, the company's vice president for global affairs, said in a post Friday, "If we determine that there is still a serious risk to public safety, we will extend the restriction for a set period of time and continue to re-evaluate until that risk has receded."

特朗普4日發(fā)表聲明，宣稱這一決定“侮辱”他的支持者。

In a statement, Trump called the decision an "insult" to his supporters.

此外，臉書公司4日表示，如果政治人物在社交媒體發(fā)布虛假或惡毒言論，臉書將不再給予他們“無限制豁免”。按照克萊格的說法，臉書將開始發(fā)布政治人物上述言論能夠得到豁免的“極少特例”。

據CNBC報道，特朗普的發(fā)言人透露，其“交流平臺”已永久關停。

Donald Trump's communications platform has been permanently shut down, his spokesperson told CNBC.

名為“來自唐納德•J•特朗普的辦公桌”的平臺上個月才開通，用于發(fā)布特朗普自己的相關內容，比如記者會或者視頻。在年初的國會山騷亂后，特朗普被臉書和推特封禁，當時特朗普在這兩個平臺上有數(shù)以千萬的粉絲。

The platform, titled From the Desk of Donald J Trump, launched last month and served as a way for the former president to publish his own content including press releases and videos. Trump was banned from Facebook and Twitter after the Capitol Hill Riots. At the time of his social media ban in January, Trump boasted tens of millions of followers on Twitter and millions on Facebook.

Trump’s blog, in contrast, struggled to amass even a fraction of that engagement, NBC News reported a week after its launch.

It “will not be returning,” his senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC.“Hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing,” Miller said.

From the Desk of Donald J Trump had a section on the former president's official website, but it has now been removed. Miller confirmed via Twitter that it is a precursor to Trump's return to social media, although it is unclear when or how.

The website - which was often referred to as a blog - had a rolling feed of Trump's various posts and gave visitors the option to "like" the post and share it to Facebook and Twitter.



米勒曾在3月接受美國福克斯新聞頻道采訪時說，特朗普可能會在兩三個月后“借助他自己的平臺”重返社交媒體。

In March, Miller told Fox News he thinks "we're going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months" and "with his own platform".

不過目前，特朗普除了自己的“美國45任總統(tǒng)辦公室”網站（戳這里回顧），尚未開設其他平臺。今年以來，特朗普接受媒體采訪時，依然說自己是“一場陰謀的受害者”，稱自己的“2020年選舉（勝利）被竊取”。
