外交部發(fā)言人10日發(fā)表談話(huà)，宣布中方?jīng)Q定召回中國(guó)駐立陶宛大使，并要求立政府召回駐中國(guó)大使。

China has decided to recall its ambassador to Lithuania and demanded the Lithuanian government recall its ambassador to China, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday.


 
近一段時(shí)間，立陶宛政府不顧中方反復(fù)交涉、曉以利害，宣布允許臺(tái)灣當(dāng)局以“臺(tái)灣”名義設(shè)立“代表處”。此舉公然違背中立兩國(guó)建交公報(bào)精神，嚴(yán)重?fù)p害中國(guó)主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整。中國(guó)政府對(duì)此表示堅(jiān)決反對(duì)，決定召回中國(guó)駐立陶宛大使，并要求立政府召回駐中國(guó)大使。 

Recently, the Lithuanian Government, in disregard of China's repeated representations and articulation of potential consequences, has announced its decision to allow the Taiwan authorities to open a "representative office" under the name of "Taiwan". The decision brazenly violates the spirit of the communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Lithuania and severely undermines China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Chinese Government expresses its categorical opposition to this move. China has decided to recall its Ambassador to Lithuania and demanded the Lithuanian Government recall its Ambassador to China.

中方正告立方，世界上只有一個(gè)中國(guó)，中華人民共和國(guó)政府是代表全中國(guó)的唯一合法政府。一個(gè)中國(guó)原則是公認(rèn)的國(guó)際關(guān)系準(zhǔn)則和國(guó)際社會(huì)普遍共識(shí)，是中國(guó)同其他國(guó)家發(fā)展雙邊關(guān)系的政治基礎(chǔ)。中國(guó)政府和人民實(shí)現(xiàn)祖國(guó)統(tǒng)一的決心不可動(dòng)搖，維護(hù)國(guó)家主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整的紅線不容觸碰。我們敦促立方立即糾正錯(cuò)誤決定，采取切實(shí)措施，消除惡劣影響，不要在錯(cuò)誤的道路上越走越遠(yuǎn)。我們也正告臺(tái)灣當(dāng)局，“臺(tái)獨(dú)”是死路一條，圖謀在國(guó)際上搞分裂活動(dòng)絕對(duì)不會(huì)得逞。

The Chinese side warns the Lithuanian side that there is only one China in the world and the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China. The one-China principle is a widely recognized norm of international relations and common consensus of the international community. It is the political foundation for China to develop bilateral relations with other countries. The Chinese Government and people have unswerving determination to achieve reunification of the country. The red line of safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity shall not be crossed. We urge the Lithuanian side to immediately rectify its wrong decision, take concrete measures to undo the damage, and not to move further down the wrong path. We also warn the Taiwan authorities that "Taiwan independence" is a dead end and any attempt at separatist activities in the international arena is doomed to fail.

對(duì)此，華春瑩表示：

一個(gè)中國(guó)原則的含義不容歪曲。對(duì)于嘴上說(shuō)堅(jiān)持一個(gè)中國(guó)原則，實(shí)際上卻公然同臺(tái)灣當(dāng)局搞官方往來(lái)，甚至為“臺(tái)獨(dú)”勢(shì)力站臺(tái)的行徑，中國(guó)人民絕不答應(yīng)。 

The definition of the one-China principle is not to be distorted. The Chinese people will never allow the act of flagrantly engaging in official interactions with the Taiwan authorities and even endorsing those seeking "Taiwan independence" while paying lip service to the one-China principle.

It must be pointed out that, ever since the two countries established diplomatic relations, China has never done anything detrimental to Lithuania's national interests. On the contrary, China has always respected Lithuania's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. But Lithuania's decision to allow the Taiwan authorities to open a "representative office" under the name of "Taiwan" has seriously infringed upon China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and severely contravened the one-China principle. To this, China has the right to and should make legitimate and reasonable responses. Once again, we urge the Lithuanian side not to misjudge China's firm resolve and strong will to defend our national sovereignty and territorial integrity, earnestly honor its commitment to the one-China principle, and create conditions for the sound and steady development of China-Lithuania relations.
