美國民意調(diào)查機(jī)構(gòu)蓋洛普（Gallup poll）的最新調(diào)查結(jié)果顯示，拜登打破了一項(xiàng)新的紀(jì)錄，成為了二戰(zhàn)以來支持率下降幅度最大的總統(tǒng)。

咨詢調(diào)查公司蓋洛普發(fā)布，10月1日至19日的最新調(diào)查顯示，拜登的支持率下跌至42%。

President Biden’s approval rating is leveling off at 42 percent, according to Gallup poll released last Friday. The latest results are based on an Oct. 1-19 Gallup poll.

拜登于今年1月20日就職，7月20日至10月19日是他就職的第三個(gè)季度。根據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)顯示，拜登就任總統(tǒng)第一季度支持率為56%，第三季度支持率為44.7%，下滑了11.3個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。

這樣的跌幅，也是第二次世界大戰(zhàn)結(jié)束以來，美國總統(tǒng)中最高的。上一個(gè)支持率下滑最快“紀(jì)錄”的保持者是美國第44任總統(tǒng)奧巴馬，他在擔(dān)任總統(tǒng)后的前9個(gè)月里，支持率下降了約10個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。其次則是卡特的約9個(gè)百分點(diǎn)。

This 11-point decline is larger than any prior president registered between his first and third quarters. although it is similar to those for the Democratic presidents -- Barack Obama (10 points) and Carter (nine points).

Biden began his term with relatively solid approval ratings, ranging between 54% and 57% from January through June. His approval dropped to 50% in July and 49% in August as coronavirus infections surged in the U.S. The chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in late August, which included the deaths of more than a dozen U.S. military personnel in a terrorist attack at the Kabul airport, was likely the reason Biden's September job approval rating fell further to 43%.

就目前來看，拜登的同期支持率為42%，不僅是自己上任以來的最低值，還位列過去50年來所有美國總統(tǒng)的倒數(shù)第二位：倒數(shù)第一是特朗普的37%。

The latest polling from Gallup pegs the President's approval at just 42%, the lowest of his term to date and the second lowest of any president Gallup has measured at this moment in their presidency over the last almost five decades.



而據(jù)CNN分析，除了新冠疫情防控不力和阿富汗撤軍這兩方面，拜登支持率下滑還有諸多原因，其中最重要的一項(xiàng)可能是美國民眾認(rèn)為當(dāng)前面臨嚴(yán)峻的經(jīng)濟(jì)困難，但是拜登對于這一問題的關(guān)注遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。

While the causes of Biden's decline are numerous (e.g. declining trust of his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and the American troop withdrawal from Afghanistan), perhaps the biggest one is that Americans believe there are big economic problems and that Biden isn't focused nearly enough on them.
