日本前首相安倍晉三8日在奈良市街頭發(fā)表演講時(shí)遭槍擊倒地。日本媒體援引當(dāng)?shù)叵啦块T(mén)的消息說(shuō)，安倍在被緊急送醫(yī)時(shí)心肺功能停止。

Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe collapsed and showed no sign of life after being shot twice on Friday when he was delivering a speech in the western city of Nara, local media reported. The Nara City Fire Department confirmed that the former Japanese PM was in cardio-pulmonary arrest before being taken to hospital.

當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間8日11時(shí)30分左右，安倍在奈良縣奈良市大和西大寺車(chē)站附近為自民黨參議院議員候選人助選發(fā)表演講，演講開(kāi)始一兩分鐘后，一名男子從安倍身后3米處向他開(kāi)槍?zhuān)脖缎夭亢皖i部中彈倒地。

Abe suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his neck, according to the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in Tokyo.

隨后，安倍被救護(hù)車(chē)緊急送醫(yī)，并由醫(yī)用直升機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)至奈良縣立醫(yī)科大學(xué)醫(yī)院。

He was taken away by ambulance, then transferred to the hospital by medical helicopter, where he is now undergoing emergency treatment, the agency said.

Police have arrested Yamagami Tetsuya for attempted murder. Investigative sources told NHK a gun seized at the scene appeared to be handmade. The 41-year-old suspect lives in Nara city where the shooting took place. Defense sources say the suspect worked for the Maritime Self Defense Force for three years until around 2005.

Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida condemned the shooting in the western city of Nara. Kishida arrived at the Prime Minister's office at 2:30 p.m. by helicopter from Yamagata Prefecture where he was campaigning for the upcoming Upper House election.

He stepped down again in 2020 due to heath issues, but has remained an influential figure within the LDP.
