當(dāng)?shù)貢r間15日，瑞士男子網(wǎng)球名將費德勒在個人社交媒體上宣布，將于本周在倫敦舉行的拉沃爾杯后退役。

Swiss tennis icon Roger Federer announced that he will retire from Grand Slams and the ATP Tour after the Laver Cup.

據(jù)新華網(wǎng)報道，現(xiàn)年41歲的費德勒近年來飽受傷病困擾，過去兩年接受了三次膝部手術(shù)，自去年7月的溫網(wǎng)后因為膝傷再未參加其他比賽。

費德勒在社交媒體上發(fā)布的告別信中寫道：“我努力恢復(fù)到最佳競技狀態(tài)，但我同樣知道自己的身體能力和極限，它給我傳達(dá)的信號清晰地提醒我，我已經(jīng)41歲了。”

"I've worked hard to return to full competitive form. But I also know my body's capacities and limits, and its message to me lately has been clear. I am 41 years old," said the legend, who has not played since Wimbledon last year.
