Jason Lightfoot, a British vlogger who has been living in China for 10 years, shares his thoughts on the "human rights" concerns over northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. 

He analyzes the typical tricks Western media outlets use to twist the truth about Xinjiang, accusing them of misinforming the public. 

He also finds practical examples to reveal how little some Western media outlets know about China.

In the article, the BBC made up some stories in readers' minds. It goes on to say,"...more than one million people are being sent to detention camps around the whole of Xinjiang."
 
Jason questioned where on earth did exactly "one million people" come from?
 
He also questioned the evidence behind these numbers and where the BBC got this number from.

Jason表示，BBC正是利用谷歌地圖，隨意選取地圖上外形類(lèi)似“監(jiān)獄”的工廠來(lái)編造新疆存在“集中營(yíng)”的謊言，展現(xiàn)了某些西方媒體對(duì)中國(guó)的了解簡(jiǎn)直少到不可思議。

He also notes others' practice of using Google Maps to randomly choose structures that look like prisons to back claims of "concentration camps" in Xinjiang with the aim of misleading the public. He says this reveals how little some Western media outlets know about China.
