“首先，作為中國人，我的忠誠從未改變。我生來就是中國人，出生在一片本該屬于中國人的土地上。我曾受英國統(tǒng)治，但這并非我的選擇。”
“My loyalty first and foremost was as a Chinese person. I never changed. I was born a Chinese person, in a land which ought to be Chinese. I came under British rule not of my choice.”
事實上，這一段內(nèi)容只是該訪談中的“亮點”之一，身為香港警務(wù)處副處長的郭蔭庶還在其他議題上作出了精彩回答。
郭蔭庶在采訪中還提到了美國：“世界上有些國家的基因中就帶著侵略性。我說的就是美國。我認為他們的意圖也很明顯了 —— 為了遏制中國的發(fā)展。這是個公開的秘密。”
“There are countries on Earth whose basic DNA is aggressive,” he said. “I’m talking about the United States. And I think it’s also clearly stated what their intent is, OK? To suppress the development of China. It’s an open secret.”
面對國際環(huán)境中對香港警察的一些歪曲抹黑，郭蔭庶也在采訪中有力回應：維護安全穩(wěn)定是香港警方的職責。

“作為一名警察，我們向來關(guān)注生命。大家是否安全，大家晚上外出時是否感到安全，大家讓十幾歲的女兒自己回家是否感到安全。這些都是關(guān)乎生命的問題，與政治無關(guān)。我們有權(quán)擁有安全，我們有權(quán)擁有穩(wěn)定。因為這是社會能夠正常運作的唯一方式。我認為2019年的一系列事件已經(jīng)向大家表明，當穩(wěn)定與安全都被破壞時，社會運作就會失調(diào)，完全失調(diào)了。我們當時處在崩潰邊緣。”
“As a POLICE OFFICER, our concern has always been life issues. Whether you're safe; whether you feel safe going out at night; whether you feel safe to allow your daughter teenage daughter to go home by herself. These are life issues. These are not political issues. We are entitled to security. We're entitled to stability. Because that's the only way the society can function. And I think the events of 2019 haves shown you when stability and security breaks down, society becomes dysfunctional totally dysfunctional. We were on the brink of collapse.”
“我們盡了全力。如果這再次發(fā)生，我們還會這么做。這樣才能實現(xiàn)穩(wěn)定、安全、繁榮的最終目標。世界上所有的國家也一直都希望能達成這三項目標。”
“We tried to do our best. And if it happens again we will do that again. The ultimate aim of stability, security and prosperity can actually be achieved. All countries on Earth are constantly and perpetually obsessed with these three objectives.”
