7日，外交部發(fā)言人汪文斌在例行記者會(huì)上回應(yīng)聯(lián)合國中文日活動(dòng)時(shí)表示，截至2020年底，全球共有180多個(gè)國家和地區(qū)開展中文教育，70多個(gè)國家將中文納入國民教育體系，外國正在學(xué)習(xí)中文的人數(shù)超過2000萬，累計(jì)學(xué)習(xí)和使用中文的人數(shù)接近2億。

汪文斌稱，我們高興地看到世界各地學(xué)習(xí)和使用中文的人越來越多，“在我們外交部例行記者會(huì)上，用中文提問的外國記者朋友也越來越多，我們將繼續(xù)為各國朋友提供必要的便利和協(xié)助。”
