It’s common to play video games as a way to relieve stress. We play games for fun, relaxation and even to kill time. However, one student has found a much more innovative way to use video games.
玩電子游戲是常見的一種解壓方式。我們玩游戲是為了好玩、放松甚至是打發(fā)時(shí)間。然而，有位同學(xué)卻發(fā)現(xiàn)了一種更有創(chuàng)意的游戲方式。

Wu Hele, 17, a Senior 3 student from Jinling High School, Nanjing, has been preparing a gift for his high school – a recreation of his beloved campus in the game Minecraft.
來自南京金陵中學(xué)17歲的高三學(xué)生吳何樂為學(xué)校準(zhǔn)備了一份大禮 —— 在游戲《我的世界》中復(fù)制他心愛的校園。

It is a game that allows players to design landscapes and build structures in all different types of locations with various materials.
這款游戲能讓玩家利用各種各樣的材料設(shè)計(jì)景觀、在不同的地點(diǎn)搭建建筑。

For Wu, recreating the campus was not a spur of the moment. During Wu’s first time visiting the campus, he found that it was perfect for replicating. “The layout of the school is regular, and buildings all had a symmetrical, aesthetic feeling, which is suitable for restoring with Minecraft,” he told Modern Express.
對(duì)于吳何樂而言，復(fù)制校園并非一時(shí)心血來潮。當(dāng)吳何樂第一次踏入校園時(shí)，他便發(fā)現(xiàn)這里很適合（在游戲中）復(fù)制還原。“學(xué)校布局規(guī)整，建筑也很有對(duì)稱美感，很適合用《我的世界》這款游戲來還原，”他在接受《現(xiàn)代快報(bào)》采訪時(shí)如此表示。

After his first visit to the campus, Wu decided to replicate it. However, this was not an action that could be undertaken in a day or swiftly improvised at will. During his three years in high school, Wu has effectively budgeted his time. After finishing his assignments, he always walked throughout the campus with a notebook. “I measured all the corners by eyeballing or counting footsteps. I also drew rough sketches. When I played the game, I would build the campus based on my sketches,” he told the Beijing Evening News.
第一次踏入校園后，吳何樂便下定決心要把校園還原出來。但這并非是一日之功，也不是能隨便拼湊出來的。在三年的高中生活中，吳何樂高效地規(guī)劃了自己的時(shí)間。做完作業(yè)，他便常常帶上筆記本在校園里走走?！拔夷繙y(cè)或者用腳步估測(cè)了校園里的每一個(gè)角落，還畫了些草圖。玩游戲的時(shí)候，我會(huì)照著這些草圖進(jìn)行‘建造’，”他在接受《北京晚報(bào)》采訪時(shí)如此說道。

Wu experienced several challenges as he recreated every detail of the campus. One of the most difficult challenges was building the semi-ellipsoidal gymnasium. At first, he didn’t know how to replicate the shape. Then, Wu learned the conic curve formula, which he applied to the building.
在還原校園每處細(xì)節(jié)的過程中，吳何樂也遇到了一些難題。最難的一次是建造半橢圓形的體育館。一開始，他不知道如何該還原這一形狀。后來，吳何樂學(xué)到了圓錐曲線公式，并將其應(yīng)用到了體育館上。

His hard work has paid off. Almost all of the scenery of Jinling High School has been replicated in the game. The gate, the teaching buildings, the unique corridor with the wisteria – every tree and flower has been accurately restored. The player can visit the classrooms, gyms and office buildings and view the detailed decorations inside. In addition, their school’s pet kitten can be seen wandering downstairs in the teaching building just like in real life.
功夫不負(fù)有心人。金陵中學(xué)的幾乎每一處風(fēng)景都被他還原了出來。大門、教學(xué)樓、紫藤長(zhǎng)廊 —— 一草一木都精準(zhǔn)還原。玩家能夠前往教室、體育館、辦公樓，并且看到里面的裝飾細(xì)節(jié)。此外，游戲中還能看到學(xué)校里的校貓?jiān)诮虒W(xué)樓下散步，就和現(xiàn)實(shí)生活一樣。

“I’m the first one who restored our campus in this way. I’ve cherished the three years I’ve spent here, and I have learned a lot during the whole process,” Wu told Nanjing Daily.
“我是第一個(gè)用這種方式還原校園的人。我很珍惜在這里度過的三年時(shí)光，在這個(gè)過程中，我也學(xué)到了很多東西，”吳何樂在接受《南京日?qǐng)?bào)》采訪時(shí)如此表示。
