The countdown to the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics next February has already begun.
將于明年2月開幕的北京冬奧會(huì)如今已進(jìn)入倒計(jì)時(shí)。

Besides Beijing’s promise of hosting a “fantastic, extraordinary and excellent” Winter Olympic Games, “safe” is also a keyword as the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, reported Xinhua.
據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，在北京為世界奉獻(xiàn)一屆精彩、非凡、卓越的冬奧會(huì)，是中國(guó)政府和中國(guó)人民的莊嚴(yán)承諾。而除此之外，由于全球新冠疫情仍在持續(xù)蔓延，“安全”也是籌辦工作的重中之重。

On Oct 25, the first editions of the Beijing 2022 Playbooks were published by the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
10月25日，國(guó)際奧委會(huì)、國(guó)際殘奧委會(huì)和北京冬奧組委三方共同發(fā)布了第一版《北京2022年冬奧會(huì)和冬殘奧會(huì)防疫手冊(cè)》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱《防疫手冊(cè)》）。

The two playbooks, one for athletes and team officials, and one for other participants, such as media and technical officials, provide thorough COVID-19 guidelines.
《防疫手冊(cè)》分兩本，一本面向運(yùn)動(dòng)員和隨隊(duì)官員，另一本面向媒體人員和技術(shù)官員等其他利益相關(guān)方，為其提供全面的新冠疫情防疫指導(dǎo)。

According to Xinhua, the playbooks cover the whole journey of all Games participants, detailing the requirements for entry and the measures that will be in place within the closed-loop management system.
據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，兩本《防疫手冊(cè)》涵蓋了所有涉奧人員的整個(gè)行程，對(duì)入境要求以及閉環(huán)管理系統(tǒng)內(nèi)實(shí)行的防疫措施等細(xì)節(jié)進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)說(shuō)明。

All participants are encouraged to be fully vaccinated before entering the closed-loop management system.
《防疫手冊(cè)》鼓勵(lì)和提倡所有運(yùn)動(dòng)員接種疫苗，所有人員來(lái)華至少14日前需完成新冠疫苗全程接種，才可（免除集中隔離）進(jìn)入閉環(huán)管理。

Within the closed loop, participants can only move between certain places for training, competitions and work. Those who are not fully vaccinated will have to quarantine for 21 days after arriving in Beijing.
在閉環(huán)內(nèi)，參與者將只能在涉冬奧場(chǎng)所特定空間內(nèi)活動(dòng)，參加與本人訓(xùn)練、比賽和工作等有關(guān)活動(dòng)。所有根據(jù)《防疫手冊(cè)》未完成全程接種的人員需在抵達(dá)北京后接受21天的集中隔離。

Other principles, including minimizing social interaction, testing, tracing and isolating possible positive cases are also written in the document.
《防疫手冊(cè)》還規(guī)定了其他關(guān)鍵原則，包括減少接觸、檢測(cè)、追蹤與隔離可能的感染人員。

According to Han Zirong, vice-president and secretary-general of Beijing 2022, experiences from other international sports events have been drawn on in developing the playbooks. In August, a 34-person delegation from the Beijing Organizing Committee was sent to Tokyo to hear Japanese experts’ experiences. But compared to Tokyo’s prevention measures, those in Beijing 2022 could be stricter. Beijing Organizing Committee has highlighted the importance of full vaccination, something that was not stressed by the Tokyo 2020 organizers.
北京2022年冬奧組委專職副主席、秘書長(zhǎng)韓子榮表示，手冊(cè)充分借鑒了世界其他大型體育賽事的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。今年8月，北京冬奧組委派遣了34人赴東京學(xué)習(xí)，聽取日本專家的防疫經(jīng)驗(yàn)。但與東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)的防疫措施相比，北京2022年冬奧會(huì)的防疫措施可能更為嚴(yán)格。北京冬奧組委強(qiáng)調(diào)了完成新冠疫苗全程接種的重要性，而東京奧組委沒有強(qiáng)調(diào)這一點(diǎn)。

There will be efforts to make sure that safety measures are carried out for a positive experience at Games. According to Xinhua, participants will not have to wait at the airport for their COVID-19 test results upon arrival. They will be transported to their accommodation and can wait in their rooms.
北京冬奧組委將嚴(yán)格落實(shí)疫情防控措施，提供積極的冬奧會(huì)體驗(yàn)。據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，入境人員無(wú)需在機(jī)場(chǎng)等待核酸檢測(cè)結(jié)果，可先前往奧運(yùn)村或簽約酒店，在房間內(nèi)等待結(jié)果。

Hiroshi Suzuki, a Japanese coach, joined the Winter Games test event in October under strict prevention measures. He told People’s Daily that all the arrangements were very thoughtful, and the closed-loop management system made him feel secure.
日本教練鈴木寬參與了10月的北京冬奧會(huì)測(cè)試活動(dòng)，該測(cè)試貫徹了嚴(yán)格的防疫措施。鈴木寬在接受《人民日?qǐng)?bào)》采訪時(shí)表示，一切安排都非常細(xì)致、考慮周到，閉環(huán)管理讓他感到安全、踏實(shí)。
