According to Xinhua News Agency, the authorities managed to identify that the pneumonia is linked to the novel coronavirus on Jan 7 and shared the full genetic sequence of the virus with the World Health Organization (WHO) on Jan 11.
據(jù)新華社報道，1月7日，相關(guān)部門確認(rèn)肺炎病例與新型冠狀病毒有關(guān)，并于1月11日與世界衛(wèi)生組織分享了該病毒的完整基因序列。

“China has wasted no time in identifying the pathogen and sharing the full gene sequence of the novel coronavirus with the WHO, earning valuable time for the world,” Xinhua News Agency noted.
“中國第一時間識別出病原體并與世界衛(wèi)生組織分享新冠病毒完整基因序列，為世界爭取了寶貴時間，”新華社指出。
