導(dǎo)讀:受疫情影響,長時間宅在家里的小伙伴不免懷念起街頭巷尾的美食。近日網(wǎng)絡(luò)上有一個調(diào)查,“疫情結(jié)束,你最想吃什么”,火鍋的得票率遙遙領(lǐng)先。2月中旬,由陳曉卿監(jiān)制,曲楠擔(dān)任導(dǎo)演、制片的紀(jì)錄片《沸騰吧火鍋》上線,一解網(wǎng)友的火鍋之癮。

The COVID-19 outbreak has confined many to their homes. Though some have taken this chance to hone their cooking skills, others have been missing delicious food that is often served in restaurants.
新冠肺炎疫情讓許多人都只能宅在家中。盡管有些人利用這次機(jī)會精進(jìn)了廚藝,但也有些人想念餐廳里常見的美味佳肴。

In order to ease people’s cravings, a new documentary, Pot of Fire, premiered on Tencent Video on Feb 14, allows internet users to “enjoy” hotpot together online. “No food other than hotpot can represent how much Chinese like to gather together to enjoy happiness,” documentary director Qu Nan told China Daily.
為了給大伙解解饞,一部全新的紀(jì)錄片《沸騰吧火鍋》2月14日在騰訊視頻上線,讓網(wǎng)友們能夠在線“享用”火鍋?!皼]有什么食物比火鍋更能代表中國人喜歡歡聚一堂的幸福感,”該紀(jì)錄片導(dǎo)演曲楠在接受《中國日報》采訪時如此表示。

As one of the famous meals in China, hotpot has been popular for ages, for it’s “free-for-all and healthy approach,” according to National Public Radio. From vegetables to meat, from noodles to seafood, diners can add different ingredients to the broth to cook. Unlike frying or other cooking methods, boiling food only releases their nutrients into the broth. This way can maximize the flavors of all the ingredients.
美國國家公共電臺稱,作為一道著名的中國菜,火鍋因其“隨性又健康的吃法”火了很多年。從菜到肉,從面條到海鮮,食客們可以往湯底中加入不同食材煮熟。和煎炸等其他烹飪方法不同,沸煮只會讓食材在湯底中釋放自身的營養(yǎng)成分。這種方式能最大限度地呈現(xiàn)所有食材的風(fēng)味。

Hotpot can bring warmth to our body and improve blood circulation in winter, and increase perspiration to help cool the body in summer, according to China Highlights.
“中華游”網(wǎng)站稱,火鍋在冬季能夠暖身,促進(jìn)血液循環(huán),在夏季能夠增加排汗,幫助身體降溫。

But eating hotpot is much more than an enjoyment for our taste buds and health. It’s also a celebration of life and friendship.
但吃火鍋不僅是味蕾與健康的享受,更是一種慶祝生活與情誼的方式。

For most Chinese people, eating hotpot is usually a social event. A survey by Chenzhi Catering Database showed that 40.2 percent of Chinese usually eat hotpot with friends, while 17.6 percent use the occasion for a family reunion.
對于大多數(shù)中國人而言,吃火鍋通常是一項(xiàng)社交活動。辰智餐飲數(shù)據(jù)庫發(fā)布的一項(xiàng)調(diào)查顯示,40.2%的中國人會和朋友們吃火鍋,17.6%的人在家庭聚餐時會選擇吃火鍋。

When a group of people sit around a table to eat, chat and drink, it’s a good time. “As the food continues to boil in the broth, we keep drinking and chatting with each other. The atmosphere makes the time warm,” said Yu Jiaqing, a 28-year-old luxury brand marketing staffer from Beijing.

As a popular saying goes, “There’s nothing to worry about after having a hotpot. If you are still worried, then go for it twice.”

So if you feel empty or lonely, why not cook a hotpot to fill your stomach and heart as well? Or, at least you can watch Pot of Fire.
