From smart service robots to various 5G applications, a variety of products were shown at the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing.

Running from Sept 4 to 9, the fair was the first large global trade event held both online and offline by China since the COVID-19 outbreak.
9月4日至9日舉行的服貿(mào)會(huì)是新冠肺炎疫情發(fā)生以來，我國舉辦的首場(chǎng)線上線下相結(jié)合的重大國際經(jīng)貿(mào)活動(dòng)。
CIFTIS is one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive fairs for trade in services and has been held seven times since 2012.
服貿(mào)會(huì)是全球服貿(mào)領(lǐng)域規(guī)模最大的綜合型展會(huì)之一，自2012年以來已經(jīng)舉辦7屆。
This year, the trade show covered culture, tourism, finance, sports, robotics, education and 5G. More than 18,000 companies and institutions from 148 countries and regions joined. Overseas exhibitors and guests mainly attended the fair through online platforms due to the pandemic.
今年，這場(chǎng)貿(mào)易展會(huì)覆蓋了文化、旅游、金融、體育、機(jī)器人、教育以及5G等領(lǐng)域。來自148個(gè)國家和地區(qū)的超過1.8 萬家企業(yè)及機(jī)構(gòu)參會(huì)。由于疫情原因，海外展商與來賓主要通過在線平臺(tái)參會(huì)。
The fair included one comprehensive exhibition area and eight special exhibition areas. A special area for public health and epidemic prevention showed the inactivated vaccines and test kits for COVID-19 for the first time. Various robots were on display showing skills in cooking, delivering goods and performing surgeries.
展會(huì)包括了1個(gè)綜合展區(qū)和8個(gè)專題展區(qū)。新冠滅活疫苗與試劑盒在公共衛(wèi)生與疫情防控專題展區(qū)中首次亮相。展會(huì)上各種各樣的機(jī)器人還展示了烹飪、運(yùn)輸、手術(shù)等技能。
Themed “Global Services, Shared Prosperity”, this year’s CIFTIS aimed to promote China’s new round of high-level opening-up and also the recovery of the global economy.
今年的服貿(mào)會(huì)以“全球服務(wù)，互惠共享”為主題，旨在推進(jìn)我國新一輪高水平對(duì)外開放、促進(jìn)全球經(jīng)濟(jì)復(fù)蘇。
Despite disruptions caused by COVID-19, the growth of trade in services has injected new impetus into the economy, Xinhua reported.
據(jù)新華社報(bào)道，盡管服務(wù)業(yè)的貿(mào)易增長(zhǎng)受到新冠疫情的影響，但仍為經(jīng)濟(jì)注入了新活力。
In 2019, the value of the services industry accounted for 53.9 percent of China’s gross domestic product (GDP). According to a 2019 report by the World Trade Organization, the proportion of trade in services in global trade is expected to grow to one third by 2040.
2019年，中國服務(wù)業(yè)占國內(nèi)生產(chǎn)總值的比重達(dá)53.9%。世界貿(mào)易組織2019年的一份報(bào)告顯示，服務(wù)貿(mào)易占全球貿(mào)易的比重到2040年預(yù)期將上升至三分之一。
As President Xi Jinping said in his speech to the Global Trade in Services Summit of CIFTIS via video on Sept 4, the service sector is “an increasingly important driver for development”. To overcome the difficulties the world is facing, President Xi called for all countries to work together, saying that “we hope to see more fruits from our practical cooperation so that people in different countries will all benefit from a growing trade in services”.
正如國家主席習(xí)近平9月4日在服貿(mào)會(huì)全球服務(wù)貿(mào)易峰會(huì)上的視頻致辭中所言，服務(wù)業(yè)開放合作“正日益成為推動(dòng)發(fā)展的重要力量”。為克服全世界正面對(duì)的重重困難，習(xí)主席呼吁各國團(tuán)結(jié)合作，并表示“希望不斷形成更多務(wù)實(shí)合作成果，使各國人民共同享有服務(wù)貿(mào)易增長(zhǎng)成果”。
